I'll have to check it out. I didn't know about this Drake contest, but it seems like someone in the southeast would have the best chance to win that. We have a lot more fish diversity in this region than places like Colorado.

By the way, I think you might want give that "mediocre-looking" movie a chance... I actually thought it was pretty decent (despite some of the birding inaccuracies), although I didn't read the book. I admit being a fan of both Jack Black and Owen Wilson... so if either one of them bothers you, I could see where you might not enjoy it. Even with those two guys and Steve Martin as the stars, there really isn't any slapstick silliness. It ends up being a lot more serious and real than I would have ever guessed from the previews.Jayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08288928187563951613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945200251141664251.post-88180166630388933592013-11-13T18:26:32.997-08:002013-11-13T18:26:32.997-08:00The power plants for fish are like bars for Northe...The power plants for fish are like bars for Northerners -- warm places to eat, drink, and raise hell when it's too cold to go anywhere else.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04822889256088927213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945200251141664251.post-53561773627925886182013-11-13T10:42:47.008-08:002013-11-13T10:42:47.008-08:00Interesting. Even if it were only mediocre, the brook trout on the bottle and the literary overtones would move it up on my list.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04822889256088927213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6945200251141664251.post-61250220689355133402013-09-12T05:20:02.766-07:002013-09-12T05:20:02.766-07:00One of my first favorite IPA's.One of my first favorite IPA's.
